Choose disc based courseware (On CD or DVD) if possible. You can then avoid all the difficulties of the variability of broadband quality and service.

We can't make a big enough deal out of this point: It's essential to obtain proper 24x7 round-the-clock instructor and mentor support. You'll severely regret it if you don't follow this rule rigidly. Avoid, like the plague, any organisations that use 'out-of-hours' messaging systems - where an advisor will call back during office hours. This is useless when you're stuck and want support there and then.
